I think it’s trying to kill me

I entered RuPaul and was told that the drink I should order is half vodka, half club soda.

and I was like

well duh.

that’s totally what I order when I’m at a gay club.

The Adele is Vodka, Coconut Milk, and Honey… totally trying that later. With Cake Vodka if I can find it.

Guys I put in Blink182 and it gave me a combo of vodka, coke, and cough syrup

THIS IS MAGICAL.
Brand New: PBR
Nine Inch Nails: One bottle Jack Daniels, served neat.
Ella Fitzgerald: One bottle merlot. Serve at room temperature, garnish with a twist of orange.
Gorillaz: 10 oz. of gin. Serve on rocks. Stir quickly. Garnish with a pickled asparagus.

PICKLED ASPARAGUS. PERFECTION.

Actually, the pickled asparagus does sound a bit like Gorillaz. So that’s fairly accurate.

However.

The sheer number of these things that come back “organic red wine”, PBR, or some other hipster beer (Fat Tire for Man Man? Really?) kind of turn me off of it.

Well, that and the fact that I can’t drink anymore.

But let’s do a quick test with my current long-plays (aside from Gorillaz, as that’s been done):

Avenged Sevenfold: 1 PBR (really? fuck you)
Animal Collective: 1 Brooklyn Lager (I suppose I can live with this.)
The Decemberists: 1 bottle red wine (A whole fucking bottle? Christ.)
Zoey Van Goey: 2 oz. white wine (…okay then.)
Bo Burnham: 12 oz. moonshine, 12 oz. milk (JESUS H. MONKEY-FIGHTING CHRIST ARE YOU TRYING TO MURDER ME?)
Clutch: 4 oz. Jack Daniel’s, 4 oz. tonic water, 6 oz. Captain Morgan (I am surprisingly okay with this.)
Coheed & Cambria: 6 oz. Jack Daniel’s. (Better.)
The Dead Weather: 1 Rolling Rock (pfffft)
Electric Six: 1 oz. vodka, garnish with fresh berries (It doesn’t say “lather, rinse, repeat” here, but I’m assuming it’s implied.)
Murray Gold: 8 oz. vodka, garnish with shrimp (I don’t even want to know, but it does sound close enough to “fish custard” for me to accept it.)
Maroon 5: 10 oz. Glenmorangie, 10 oz. elderflower cordial, 8 oz. club soda. (…damn.)
Finger Eleven: 1 oz. Jack Daniel’s, 1 oz. 7-Up (…what?)

So there you have it.
